What is the difference between a psychic, a medium and a channeller?
A psychic is a person who has extra sensory perception, for instance, they might know what someone else is thinking or know something that will happen in the future. They often have no belief in life after death and they just accept that they naturally have unusual abilities. Communist Russia has conducted numerous successful experiments on people with psychic abilities who have no belief in the life hereafter.
A medium can contact and receive messages from the spirit world. Many people ask mediums to receive messages from loved ones who are no longer living in the physical world. These communications bring comfort and sometimes guidance. A message can also prove that the spirit lives on after physical death. Many mediums belong to the Spiritualist Church which is a bona fide religion in the UK.
A channeller does not contact deceased loved ones and does not usually belong to our Spiritualist Church. Instead channellers contact elevated spirit teachers, sages and wise-ones who desire to help our world to progress in spiritual knowledge and self-understanding. Many people consider channellers to be modern day prophets. The majority of channellers are from the USA and usually have some training in trance mediumship in order to deliver often complex spirit-based philosophy in book or lecture form.
